New funding and support to help organisations adopt learning technology

Many organisations can see the potential of technology to improve how people gain skills for work, but putting it into practice can be difficult. It can be hard to know where to start, choosing the right solution can feel risky, and implementation often takes more time and capacity than expected.

Build the confidence and capability to adopt learning technology

Our new 10-week programme is designed overcome these challenges, helping organisations build the confidence and capability to adopt learning technology that works. Through expert-led sessions, one-to-one mentoring and peer learning, participants will develop a clearer understanding of their skills challenge, explore relevant technology options and pilot approaches that can work for their staff, learners and communities.

The programme is aimed at organisations that support adults to develop work-related skills and have identified a vocational learning challenge where technology could help. Applications are welcome from a wide range of organisations, including charities, learning providers, employers, community organisations, small associations and other not-for-profit organisations.

Start with the challenge, not the technology

Organisations do not need to have specific learning technology in mind before applying. Instead, the programme focuses on helping participants understand what will work best for their learners and organisation, starting with the problem rather than the technology.

Participants will be supported to define their challenge, assess potential approaches and develop a practical plan for using technology in a way that delivers real value for learners and their organisation.

Up to £10,000 in funding available

Grant funding of up to £10,000 is available to support participation in the programme, giving organisations dedicated time, expert guidance and space to develop ideas that could shape their future approach to learning technology.

Applications for the September programme are open from today until 5pm on 20 July 2026.
