Ufi Ventures completes third investment into TaskHer as part of £650k funding round
Ufi Ventures is proud to announce its third investment in TaskHer as part of a £650k funding round that will support the company’s next phase of growth.
By helping more women access and thrive in skilled trades careers while connecting customers with trusted professionals, TaskHer is tackling workforce shortages and creating new pathways into work.
The funding round was co-led by Trust for London, Resolution Ventures, Ufi Ventures and Second Century Ventures as part of the REACH UK programme, alongside participation from angel investors from Daring Capital.
Founded in 2022 by Anna Moynihan and Paul Moynihan, TaskHer was born after their experience managing a home renovation highlighted the lack of female tradespeople on site, sparking a wider conversation about visibility, access and gender imbalance in the industry.
Today, the company is tackling two connected challenges: helping customers find trusted tradespeople while creating more opportunities for women in a sector where they account for less than 3% of the UK’s skilled trades workforce.
The investment will support TaskHer’s expansion into new partnerships with housing associations, women’s refuges and lettings agencies. Funding will also accelerate platform development and initiatives designed to help more women access careers in the trades, building a stronger and more inclusive talent pipeline for the sector.
