Ufi and supported organisations celebrate wins at 2025 LTAs
This year’s Learning Technologies Awards saw success for Ufi and many of the projects we support.
Among the winners, Chrome Angel Solutions secured the Silver Award for Best technology-based learning game. Their VR simulation game helps UK rail workers build competence and confidence when identifying security threats.
Springpod won the Bronze Award for Best learning technologies project – commercial sector. Their careers platform gives students the opportunity to experience the world of work and university before they apply.
Ufi also received the Bronze Award for Learning technologies organisation of the year, reflecting our ongoing work to unlock opportunities for adult learners.

Rebecca Garrod-Waters, CEO of Ufi, said:
“I’m incredibly proud of Ufi’s Bronze Award for Learning technology organisation of the year. Making the shortlist was already a fantastic achievement, but winning Bronze is a powerful recognition of the impact we’ve delivered over the past year. As an organisation dedicated to funding, championing and celebrating technology for skills, we know the work we do truly matters for learners. This award reflects the commitment and creativity of the whole team, and while the real win is the difference we make every day, it’s wonderful to see that effort celebrated.”
Several more Ufi-supported organisations also made the shortlist for their outstanding work:
- University of Derby shortlisted for Excellence in the design of learning content – public & non-profit sector.
- Totem Learning shortlisted for Excellence in the design of learning content – commercial sector (UK).
- First Step Trust shortlisted for Best use of simulations or virtual environments for learning.
- Data Literacy Academy shortlisted for Best learning technologies project – commercial sector (UK), Best use of blended learning – commercial sector, and Best digital learning transformation programme.
Congratulations to all the winners and finalists. Your dedication and innovation are helping to transform learning experiences and open up opportunities for learners across the UK.
