Ufi welcomes first Public Affairs Officer
We are happy to welcome Josh Smith as Ufi’s new Public Affairs Officer
Josh will be responsible for developing and delivering Ufi’s public affairs strategy. Working alongside the Trustees and Senior Leadership Team, he will help raise Ufi's voice to champion the power of technology to improve skills for work and deliver better outcomes for all.
As Public Affairs Officer, Josh will further develop Ufi’s message and ensure that our message is heard by policy makers and decision takers. He will be helping us leverage the knowledge we have gained from supporting the sector and raise awareness of how innovation can improve skills development and catalyse change - for individuals, employers and society.
Josh has plenty of experience working in public affairs, joining us from a public affairs consultancy, where he was an account manager helping a range of business and not-for-profit clients engage with governments, local authorities, and NGOs. Josh has also spent time in Parliament, supporting a backbench MP’s work in the House of Commons.
