Ufi Welcomes New Trustee
News by Stephen Hinde, Community Manager for Ufi VocTech Trust
Ufi VocTech Trust have welcomed Jeff Greenidge to the Board of Trustees.
Jeff's extensive experience in the sector will play a vital role in shaping the future of the trust as well as support the work of Ufi's five year strategic plan.
Jeff said:
I am really very excited to join the Board at Ufi VocTech Trust at this time when education and technology are evolving at such a pace.
Institutions across the country are looking to digital technologies to make sure vocational training and learning can continue; and indeed develop and thrive.
I am particularly keen that we explore how these emerging technologies, including analytics and artificial intelligence can deliver far greater understanding of learner capabilities, and support new, more inclusive approaches to teaching, learning and advice, and guidance
Jeff was involved in the forerunner to Ufi for 17 years, where he helped to set up the first UK national network of learning online centres, Learndirect, before he left to start his own business.
It's great to come back, this time as a Trustee
It’s great to come back, now as a Trustee, and see that same commitment to creating learning communities and environments where people feel safe, have the right tools, and are empowered to reach their full potential.
I am looking forward to working with this dynamic Board of Trustees to support the team in the championing of technology to improve skills for life and work in the UK.
