Ufi and the Association of Colleges (AoC) are working in partnership to increase the use of vocational technology in further education (FE) colleges to provide access to learning and skills, and improve outcomes for post-16 vocational learners.
Together, we aim to build capacity and confidence in the use of VocTech across FE colleges, by embedding behaviours and strategies that can support innovation in how tech is used to enhance teaching, learning, and business support.
Our partnership with the AoC will include collaboration with Jisc, drawing on their insights, resources and networks to add value and catalyse the change we want to see.
“This partnership marks a significant commitment to ensuring students and staff alike are supported to make the most of the vast range of technology and approaches able to improve vocational skills. We are proud to partner with Ufi to drive positive change in the FE sector and support students across the country to gain the skills they need to thrive."

Background
Technology is dramatically changing how students develop skills in FE colleges, offering unique opportunities for learning, engagement and workforce preparation. However, the adoption of technology within FE colleges is uneven, creating has gaps that could have long-term effects on students, communities and regional economies.
Addressing these gaps requires both leadership and targeted investment, alongside a clear strategy for digital transformation across the sector.
