Jane is responsible for leading and managing Ufi's grant funding work, with overall responsibility for our projects and cohorts from call scoping, to onboarding projects, monitoring, forecasting, delivery, enrichment, closure and evaluation.

Prior to working with Ufi, I worked with many other organisations managing grant programmes with a tech and innovation focus, including Birmingham Science City, national Innovate UK grants, and the Worcestershire Proof of Concept Fund. I've supported innovation strategy development and delivery for the West Midlands Combined Authority with the West Midlands Innovation Alliance too.
In past roles I've worked with a variety of start-ups, small and large companies, helping them access national and regional support to grow, and I've worked with overseas businesses investing in the UK.
Before this I had a long career in sales, negotiating global contracts for chemicals, which helps me bring a strong customer and user focus to Ufi's work. It's always a pleasure to see our grant funding transform a good idea into real tangible products across a huge variety of sectors.
