Introducing the new digital badge for organisers using iDEA with their learners
iDEA, have launched a new Organiser badge to support organisations using digital badges with their learners.
The Inspiring Digital Enterprise Award, known as iDEA, is an award-winning programme helping people develop digital, enterprise and employability skills, for free.
Through a series of online challenges, people can win career-enhancing badges, unlock new opportunities and, ultimately, gain industry-recognised Awards that help them stand out from the crowd. To date, more than 13 million iDEA badges have been awarded.
Introducing the Organiser badge
The new Organiser badge, supported by Ufi, is designed to help anybody using iDEA with a group of learners; whether they’re just getting started or they’ve been using it for some time.
It will teach them how to get set up if they haven’t already and how the iDEA portal can help them to manage groups of learners and keep up with progress – helping organisers to feel confident about using iDEA and get the most out of it for their cohorts.
“We're really pleased to see the launch of the new Organiser badge from iDEA. Digital badges and awards are great ways for people to demonstrate their existing knowledge and learn new skills for work. The new Organiser badge will help even more organisations support their learners to use the iDEA platform, and ultimately help get more adults learning across the UK.”
Louise Rowland, Deputy CEO, Ufi VocTech Trust
With the support of Ufi, iDEA have improved the sign-up journey for organisations and added some extra help for onboarding learners.
Once organisations have successfully onboarded their first learner and they have achieved an iDEA badge, the facilitators will be awarded with their very own iDEA Organiser badge. Over 1,000 people have achieved their iDEA Organiser badge so far.
