Ufi's £900k VocTech Activate grant fund opens January 2025
Ufi’s £900k VocTech Activate grant fund supports the design, development, testing, and adoption of innovative digital tools and approaches with the potential to transform vocational learning for adults.
Our VocTech Activate grant fund provides between £30,000 and £60,000 for early-stage projects lasting from three to 12 months using technology to address real-world problems in UK adult vocational learning.
VocTech Activate is our test bed where the first spark of an idea can be developed and tested in a supportive environment. The grant fund is designed to help projects demonstrate the art of the practically possible, to support innovators and innovation, to inspire action and to grow impact and evidence.
We encourage ideas which have the potential to transform how vocational learning happens, rooted in a real-world understanding of the problems, issues and opportunities in the vocational sector. Projects will need to show us how their idea is novel, that they understand the market they are looking at and why their solution is better than anything that has been thought of before.

Applications open on 6th January 2025, with pre-application workshops available to book now. Successful applicants will join a cohort of projects, forming connections with innovators from across the UK and supported by experts in the Ufi community.
