Before joining Ufi in 2019 I had worked in a variety of IT roles both in private and public sector. Moving to Ufi was a bit of a leap - from corporate IT to digital learning tech, from open-plan office life to virtual home office. But what it also brought was exposure to a wide and wonderful variety of projects and people. And train journeys rather than traffic jams! I currently support 12 live projects, each one is very different and it is a privilege to be part of their journey - to support and offer help when it is needed, and celebrate their successes.
I've learnt a lot about different sectors, technologies and approaches to learning, and most importantly about how VocTech can truly make a difference. Networking and the 'Ufi family' is a key part of what we do, and participating in and organising events and workshops was something very new to me, but something I've found I really enjoy - and its a joy to work with the Ufi team to develop and deliver these events.
